Golf Courses in Paso Robles

Paso Robles itself is home to four incredible golf courses. Three of these golf courses offer up your traditional 18-hole course, while one of them offers a unique “6-hole player development course”. There’s something for everyone when it comes to these golf courses. Whether you’re a seasoned veteran who plays every week, or just an amateur looking to work on their game, each of these golf courses in Paso Robles will offer a unique experience and challenge.

Paso Robles Golf Club

The Paso Robles Golf Club is located on the southeast side of town and offers 6,157 yards of golf. This 18-hole, par 70 golf course was recently completely renovated by its new local owner and is sure to be an amazing experience for golfers of all skill levels. Rates range from $30-$52 depending on your timing and age, with discounts available to active service members.

In addition to the golf course, Paso Robles Golf Club is also home to the Deeds Bar & Grill where you can grab breakfast, lunch, or dinner with an impeccable view both inside and out.

Hunter Ranch 

The Hunter Ranch golf course is located on the east side of Paso Robles off of CA-46. It is home to a stunning 18-hole golf course that has been awarded with 4 to 4-1/2 stars every year by the readers of Golf Digest magazine. You’ll enjoy the incredible views while trying to conquer this course full of beautiful trees, lakes, and native grasses. There’s nothing quite like it.

You can also enjoy The Hunter Ranch Bar & Grill for breakfast and lunch. The bar & grill offers incredible views while partaking in a great selection of handcrafted beer & cocktails, as well as some absolutely amazing food items.

Links Course at Paso Robles 

The Links Course at Paso Robles is located on the northeast side of Paso Robles, in the heart of wine country. This 18-hole golf course is a par 27 championship course that features five par 5, five par 3, and eight par 4 holes. The course has been recently refurbished to provide one of the best golf experiences in Paso Robles.

If you’re just looking to get some practice in, The Links Course offers a 300+ yard driving range with a variety of raised targets as well as a putting green and a chipping green.

Rates for this golf course range from $20-55 with discounts for senior golfers.

River Oaks Golf Course

If you’re looking for a more unique experience, or if you don’t have enough time to shoot a full 18 holes, then River Oaks Golf Course is perfect for you.

River Oaks Golf Course is located on the north side of Paso Robles and features a 6-hole course created by PGA Professionals Rudy Duran and Gary Wishon. This 6-hole course features three sets of tees for each hole, with different angles of approach, so that if you chose to, you could get a full 18-hole experience. But for those short on time or those that just want to practice their short game, this is the perfect course for you.

Rates for this unique development course range from $10-22 depending on the number of holes played and when you play. There are also monthly passes available.

Golf Courses Outside of Paso Robles

While there are only four main golf courses within Paso Robles itself, if you’re looking to drive a bit further, there are other options available.

Chalk Mountain Golf Course 

Chalk Mountain Golf Course is located south of Paso Robles, about 25 minutes down the 101, in Atascadero, CA. This golf course features 18-holes situated among the lush, ancient oak groves, and is great for both beginners and seasoned veterans.

Rates range from $15-30 depending on your age and time of day.

Morro Bay Golf Course 

If you’re looking for a golf course closer to the water, Morro Bay Golf Course has incredible views of the ocean. This course is located in Morro Bay, about 45 minutes southwest of Paso Robles. This 18-hole course will wow you with its spectacular views of the ocean and amazing playing field.

Rates range from $20-45 depending on your age and time of day.
