Summary: The Events & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for creating, planning, promoting, managing and executing campaigns and events designed to increase brand awareness, drive customer attendance, and build customer loyalty. Responsibilities extend to managing marketing campaigns through the company website, social media outlets, and beyond. Successful candidates will possess high energy, enthusiasm, excellent communication skills, is very organized, customer-service focused, and has a solid business sense with understanding of key marketing concepts like Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) customer lifetime value (CLV or LTV).

General Duties and Responsibilities
• Willing to always look for ways to improve The Backyard culture and brand
• Develop, plan, promote and execute unique and entertaining events both in our downtown location and around SLO County. Responsible for the promotion and execution of these events.
• Ensure that customer requirements and specifications are adhered to and that events run smoothly, efficiently, and profitably
• Brainstorm new ideas for events to increase the liveliness of The Backyard
• Help maintain a company-wide calendar of events
• Regularly review all events to determine if they are worth continuing in the future. This includes keeping detailed follow up notes after each event as to the logistics, organization and attendance of each event.
• Be on site for all events and manage a group of employees or volunteers for set up and break down

Community Outreach
• Develop, plan, promote and execute unique and entertaining events in the surrounding community that promote The Backyard’s values and mission
• Continually reach out to local businesses and organizations, presenting possible partnership and/or events opportunities

Abilities and Skills
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Essential DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the general direction and direct supervision of the Tasting Room Manager, the Tasting Room Lead is responsible for the following:

- Greet visitors as they enter the winery and show them to their tasting table
- Always coordinate with Tasting Room staff to efficiently manage visitors ensuring all guests are provided excellent service
- Provide the latest information on our wines, techniques, history and be able to respond to visitors’ questions
- Train Tasting Room staff on all information pertaining to the wines and the overall guest experience

- Effectively sell and train staff to sell wine
- Promote the Wine Club to all customers

- Manage the inventory of wines for Tasting Room daily use and sales

- Update and organize tourism information and update tasting menus with newly released wines

BEHIND THE SCENE RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Clean, organize and re-stock Tasting Room
- Work with the management team with regular communication of how the Tasting Room is operating and what is needed

- Coordinate with management team on Tasting Room staff monthly schedules

Position Summary:
Facility Maintenance Technician

The Craig Stoller Collection (Sextant Wines / Paris Valley Road Estate Winery) seeks a qualified individual to maintain our exceptional facilities. This person must have a great mechanical aptitude along with a strong understanding of facility maintenance. The ideal candidate must take pride in their work and has an eye for detail. Properties consist of two wineries, three tasting rooms, vacation rentals and an administration office.

Farm & Edible Landscaping
 Annual vegetable garden planning and implementation

Essential Functions
• Manage contracted services for the following suppliers; house and facility cleaning, pest control and landscaping.
• Conduct and document regular facilities inspections, retaining appropriate records and follow up as needed.
• Document preventive maintenance schedule for houses on property.
• Recommend and implement best practice processes to increase efficiency throughout facilities.
• Work closely with event manager to plan and manage facility services around events and guest arrivals.
• Maintain spare part inventory control, compile and sort purchase material receipts; maintain logs and records.
• Respond to emergency calls as needed.

Other Duties
• Ensure the highest levels of service and expectations are always met.
• Provide the proper level of care and maintenance required for houses on the property.
• Execute the preventive maintenance plan for HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems to keep the household mechanical systems in good operating condition.

TH Estate wines is a boutique, premium winery and vineyard estate, specializing in Rhone varieties. We are conveniently located only 2 miles from highway 46W and only 3 miles from downtown Paso Robles.
We are looking for a dynamic full-time team member, as a Tasting Room Manager/Social Media Director, who will be one of the primary faces and voices of the tasting room. This position requires an individual that can provide the customer with an experience that goes above and beyond expectations, while also helping to maintain a warm, friendly, clean, organized, and efficient tasting room and outstanding customer communication. The position will require the majority of time spent in the tasting room, while also having flexibility to do other aspects of daily operations. Job Responsibilities:
Perform all aspects of tasting room operations including hospitality, conducting both bar and seated tastings, daily inventory, reservations, POS, general procedures, and exceptional customer communication

Professional Requirements:
Minimum of two years industry experience

Position Summary
Under the direction of the Tasting Room Manager, we are searching for staff that have a background in customer service, a good eye for detail, and truly enjoy fostering a wonderful experience for every guest that visits the property. As a Tasting Room Staff member, you will be the main point of contact for our guests, so a polite, friendly, and energetic demeanor is a must.

Qualifications
• Operate lift truck to organize and maintain warehouse case goods inventory according to established procedures and standards.

• Assist with all case goods physical inventories and cycle counts.
• May be responsible for tail off activity from bottling lines requiring verification of case goods produced, or filling in as needed on the line.
• Bottling and wine packaging experience is a plus
• Remain in compliance with housekeeping, standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Ability to lift 36 pounds respectively during the day.
• Vintrace Software experience a plus.
