Opolo Vineyards is looking for an outgoing and energetic individual to plan and coordinate weddings on the property and assist with other winery events.

To be successful in the role, the best-fit candidate must have the following skills and leadership attributes:

Essential Functions:
• Coordinate details of winery events such as weddings, winemaker dinners, private dinners, corporate events, and employee appreciation events
• Market and sell winery weddings
• Manage correspondence with wedding clients and other event attendees
• Calculate budgets and execute other financial documents
• Schedule vendors, musicians, caterers and other talent for winery events
• Coordinate and monitor event timelines and work orders
• Develop marketing plans to maximize exposure for the winery events and weddings
• Collect payments and record data pertaining to income and expenses
• Work with management in order to handle complaints and dissatisfied customers
• Assist office with administrative tasks: phone calls, emails, etc.
• Ensure the facility is properly maintained and organize clean-up and repairs
• Hire and supervise part time event staff
• Act as a concierge for guests, providing recommendations on hotels, restaurants, wineries, breweries, and other activities in the area
• Other assignments as needed

Position Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years working in events, weddings, hospitality or related field
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Outgoing, engaging, and friendly personality
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills including excellent telephone communication, sales and customer service
• Ability to multi-task and work independently
• Strong organization and time management skills with attention to detail

Under the supervision of the Senior Manager, Brand Experience & Activations, this individual will execute the coordination of events for DAOU. This position requires an eye for detail, the ability to meet deadlines, the creativity to meet budgets and a passion for exceeding expectations.

Position Responsibilities & Accountabilities

- Supports with the execution of all events, initiatives and projects.
- Supplies marketing forms and requests in a timely manner.
- Supplies finance forms and requests in a timely manner.
- Updates and keeps Event Calendar on weekly basis.
- Day to day contact for all vendors.
- Coordinates staffing needs and communicates expectations.
- Understand WineDirect/TOCK systems for POS purposes and running reports.
- Attends events and event meetings outside of normally scheduled working hours.

- Assists with the setup and breakdown of all events.
- Assists with the setup and breakdown of Trade and VIP visits.
Position Requirements
- 1-2 years experience in Event Coordination.

Primary Responsibilities

Vina Quest LLC, a consulting company based in Paso Robles, CA, works with vineyards throughout California, in providing comprehensive services and solutions to the wine and agribusiness industries. This position is responsible for assisting our grower clients with data collection, pest control advising, fertilizer recommendations, irrigation scheduling, and regulatory compliance.

Job Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
• Assist in developing effective pest and disease control programs in compliance with organic, sustainable, and biodynamic farming practices.
• Monitor vineyard blocks for pests, disease, soil moisture, and grape maturity levels.
• Track all pesticide applications, with regular reporting to government agencies and grower clients/wineries.

Seeking a full time, hands-on Vineyard Technician to make a long-term commitment to manage all aspects of 40 acre vineyard operations at a beautiful, family-friendly multi-use farm in the coastal mountains of west Paso Robles. On-ranch housing can be provided at below market rate.

Duties include:
-Maintain and implement vineyard work schedules in coordination with the winemaker and owners.
-Maintain and implement pest control, irrigation, and fertilizer schedules.
-Manage, maintain, and operate vineyard irrigation system.
-Oversee and/or personally implement all farming including mowing, tilling, fungicide spraying, harvest.
-Provide accurate and timely data collection including vine counts, crop estimates, and other pertinent information to the winemaker and ranch manager.
-Supervise seasonal staff and contract crews by assigning tasks and monitoring progress as required.
-Keep other team members informed of relevant information regarding the vineyard.

• Cultivate increased membership retention through strong customer service skills, consistent follow-up
• Manage email campaigns and postal mail promotions
• Track and analyze metrics regularly on sales and membership data
• Learn to process club runs and allocations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Also responsible for setting up new memberships and processing any daily membership related orders or reorders
• Keeping memberships up-to-date with appropriate credit card, billing, and shipping information as well as a record of notes on file pertaining to customer preferences and history
• Manage inventories for orders to pick-up or ship
• Create and implement strategic club and holiday shipment plans
• Collaborate with tasting room team to increase membership sign ups
• Handling shipment logistics and details including redirecting orders, reshipping orders, weather holds, managing all exception notices to ensure delivery, and coordinating all winery-supplied items needed for a large pack-out
• Guest House management including scheduling, creating guest itineraries, and more!

Tasting Room Manager Job Description:
As a member of the management team, the Tasting Room Manager is responsible for all Tasting Room operations, including development, implementation and management of Sales and Marketing initiatives, as well as activities directly related to Consumer Sales & Marketing profitability.

Job Duties Include but are not limited to:

• Provide outstanding customer service, education and memorable experience for our guests
• Manage tasting room staff schedule and ensure break and meal periods are executed
• Manage tasting room staff by example
• Maintain supplies and retail merchandise
• Focus on sales and wine club signups
• Stay informed on changing vintages, company history and policies
• Handle cash and credit card transactions and reconcile the cash/credit drawer at the end of the day
• Complete opening and closing tasks efficiently and delegate as necessary
• Oversee tasting room inventory with Operations Manager
• Work with Wine Club Manager to grow our wine club, and plan shipments, special events, and communications
• Perform regular office administration duties by responding to emails, phone calls, and booking tastings
• Develop, implement and manage tasting room outreach, including Sales and Marketing initiatives
Qualifications:
• Previous management or hospitality experience in the Wine Industry preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Applications, including Word and Excel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including strong grammar skills
• Highly developed organizational skills
• Ability to keep multiple projects moving forward in the face of completing priorities
• Strong teamwork orientation
• Self-motivated individual who takes initiative to solve problems
• Winery POS (Wine Direct preferred) experience
