The Art of Sensory Hospitality: Tasting Room Associate
Apr 28, 2026 | LXV Wine
The Flagship Experience of Maison Mittal | Paso Robles, CA
At LXV, we do not simply pour wine; we curate a transcendental sensory journey. As the heartbeat of Maison Mittal, LXV Wine has redefined the Paso Robles landscape by weaving together ultra-premium winemaking, the ancient artistry of the Spice Route, and a deep, philosophical commitment to the guest experience.
We are seeking a sophisticated, high-energy professional to join our downtown tasting room — someone who views hospitality as a high art form and flavor as a profound language.
The Maison Mittal Standard: What You Bring
This role is designed for a storyteller and a sensory guide. To thrive within the Maison Mittal ecosystem, you must possess:
The Experience: 3+ years in high-end luxury hospitality or ultra-premium tasting rooms. You understand that true luxury is felt, not just seen.
The Storyteller's Mindset: A deep, technical knowledge of winemaking and a mastery of the Paso Robles AVAs. You should be able to articulate the nuances of terroir with the same passion you bring to a guest's personal journey.
The Culinary Edge: A genuine passion for the culinary arts. You will work extensively with our signature spice pairings; a background in cooking and an adventurous palate are essential.
The "Soft Sales" Mastery: You are a natural guide who effortlessly connects guests with ultra-premium, highly-rated wines and exclusive wine club memberships.
High-Octane Energy: The poise to remain charismatic and helpful in a fast-paced environment. Your default setting is a winning attitude of "How can I help?"
Growth Mindset: We are looking for a dedicated professional who wants to grow alongside the Maison Mittal vision — with real opportunities ahead as we expand, including our upcoming estate tasting room on the vineyard.
The Lifestyle & Benefits
We believe in honoring the talent that powers our Maison. Our employment package includes:
Competitive Compensation: Starting at $23.00/hr with performance-based raises as you grow with us.
Gratuity & Bonuses: A generous gratuity program and industry-leading incentives for wine club sign-ups.
Sensory Perks: A 50% employee discount on LXV wines and access to our proprietary spice blends for your home culinary exploration.
Comprehensive Care: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance, plus a 401(k) with company matching.
The Inner Circle: Attendance at our legendary pickup parties and a flexible (within reason) work schedule.
Be Part of Something Bigger: You'll be joining at an exciting moment in our story. As we prepare to open our estate tasting room on the vineyard, the right person will have the opportunity to grow into that chapter with us.
The Requirements
Availability: Full-time position. Weekend availability is required, as Saturday and Sunday are the heartbeat of the tasting room experience.
Physicality: Ability to lift 50 lbs. and remain active on your feet.
Legal: Must be 21 years of age or older.
