Responsibilities include:

· Professionally pour wines and educate customers on Brand and Family

· Effectively sell wines and promote our wine club

· Accurately and proficiently handle transactions on our POS system

· Reliably adhere to the weekly schedule in a timely manner

· Possess an enthusiasm for wine

· Excellent communication skills, time management and personable and professional demeanor

· Maintain tasting room cleanliness and sanitation protocols

· Initiate tasks, comfortable working both independently and as a team

· Washing and polishing glassware

· Stock wines and retail items efficiently

Previous tasting room experience preferred but not required.

Sea Shell Cellars, a family-owned boutique winery, located in Downtown Paso Robles, is seeking a part-time Tasting Room Associate passionate about wine and people! Candidates must have a flexible schedule and be willing to work every weekend, weekdays and evening shifts, holidays, and special events as assigned.

Qualifying Candidates:

Exceptional customer service, communication, organization, and sales skills
Able to open, close, and work independently in the tasting room, handling a wide range of tasks and duties in addition to hospitality responsibilities (not limited to: operating POS, stocking shelves, cleaning, organizing, phone calls)
Highly motivated, dependable and friendly. Ability to work within a very small team and be versatile and flexible. MUST be available for Friday/Saturday shifts AND other weekdays and evening shifts as needed. Must be available over holiday periods (e.g. November, December, and New Year).
Ability to learn and articulate winery history and Sea Shell Cellars wines to enhance guest experience.
Physical Requirements: The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and can stand for the majority of the shift
Starting Wage: $18.00 to $20.00 hourly - based on experience

Summary: The Administrative Assistant serves as a primary point of contact for Opolo guests, wine club members, and vendors. This position provides administrative and operational support primarily in an office environment, with occasional support on the Tasting Room floor as needed.

Compensation DOE

· $20 -$25 per hour

Essential Functions:

Assists the Wine Club Department with daily administrative tasks.

· Supports quarterly club runs and provides customer support as assigned by Wine Club Manager.

· Engages with customers via phone and email to coordinate tastings reservations

·Enter club members data into Tock, to include details of the reservations and internal notes

· Answer telephone, screen, and direct calls, respond to emails in a timely manner (within 24 hours)

· Assist Wine Club team with daily task & weekly inventory

Channeling outreach to the appropriate department.

· Organizes and forwards emails, calls, and website submissions to each department head

Other Office Duties include:

· Keeping the office stocked with supplies

· Cleaning office as needed

· Performs other duties as assigned

Working Conditions:

· Occasional long and irregular hours during peak seasons and/or special events

· Sitting for long periods of time

· Ability to focus and maintain high level of customer service in a high traffic, busy office

· Ability to lift at least 50 pounds repeatedly (case of wine)

Requirements:
· Must be 21 years of age; High School diploma or GED required.
· One to two years of sales, winery, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
· Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
· Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office, POS systems, and other supporting software.
· Strong sales and customer service skills with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with customers.
· Maintain the confidentiality of company and customer information and exercise discretion when handling sensitive matters.
· Food Handler, RBS certified within 30 days of hire

Harvest Festival on 10/16/26 and 10/17/26. This is a part-time, as-needed position based on the
