Denner Vineyards is currently seeking part-time tasting room staff to join our team. We are a Rhone and Bordeaux producer located on Vineyard Drive in Paso Robles, CA. Our tasting room is open by appointment seven days a week and we have chosen a table side pouring experience for our club members and guests in a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Our philosophy is to provide an inviting and knowledgeable tasting that compliments the wine and creates a truly enjoyable experience.
Candidates should have:
1) Availability on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, holidays and events
2) Passion for great wine and food
3) Pleasant and professional demeanor

The Position:
We are looking for both Part-Time and Full-Time Tasting Room Associates. Both positions report to the Tasting Room Manager with key interaction across the entire company including marketing, wine club, restaurant and ownership. We offer competitive compensation including wages, gratuity and bonuses for great performance. Job Duties:
- Provide excellent customer service including welcoming guests and educating them on our vineyards and wines.
- Listen to guests and effectively suggest wines for sale.
- Promote the benefits of joining the Wine Club.
- Conduct winery tours and private tastings that educate the guest on our vineyards and winemaking process.
- Perform sales transactions and customer entry using our POS System (Vin65).
- Stock wines and merchandise.
- Must maintain satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.

Qualifications and Skills:
- A passion for people and providing exceptional hospitality.
- Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Positive attitude and the ability to multi-task.
- Must enjoy working and adding to a team environment.
- Enthusiasm about wine and the desire to learn about it

We are looking for team oriented candidates who are enthusiastic, charismatic, and passionate about wine. People skills and the ability to multi-task are a must!

Qualifications
• Strong knowledge and enthusiasm about the world of fine wines.
• A desire to provide the ultimate in hospitality and customer service.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Must be able to work weekends and Holidays.
• Must be 21 years old.
• Retail sales experience is a plus.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Tasting Room:
• Greets all visitors to the winery and pours wines for tasting.
• Describes wines, winemaking techniques, and winery history; answers visitor’s questions.
• Effectively suggests and sells wine to customers.
• Accurately handles routine purchasing transactions, which include operating cash register and accounting of daily sales.
• Assists customers with the carry out of purchases to their vehicles when necessary.
• Provides general tourist information.
• Conducts guided tours as needed.
• Assists with the winery’s special events as needed.
• Acquires and maintains thorough knowledge of winery and its wines.
• Performs other duties as assigned by manager.

Receiving and Stocking
• Washes and polishes glassware for Tasting Room.
• Assists with display and pricing of retail items and wines as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Must be able to effectively stock wine, set up and break down tables, chairs and be able to utilize dolly cart and assist in moving heavy objects.

This part-time position will have a schedule of Saturday & Sunday. No exceptions.

1. PLANNING & BUDGETING

The Inventory and Logistics Manager is responsible for a wide range of departments. Essential Duties:
Logistics
• Manage, pack and track ‘daily’ orders through Vin65.

Wholesale Assistance
• Receive and pack purchase orders for wholesale department.
• Create BOLs
• Confirm current vintages for each purchase order.
• Communicate with trucking companies to coordinate pick-ups.
• Work with wholesale team, winemaker and management team on projections and available vintages each month.
• Communicate with team on what wines are being bottled and when new wines are to be released.
• Work closely with Japan and China distributors for lab analysis and TTB reports.

The PM Quality Package Technician position will assist the QA team by performing quality control checks on various production lines at the Firestone Walker Brewery in Paso Robles. Required Qualifications:

•Understanding of scientific principles for quality control and quality assurance
