One of the most rewarding aspects of the Paso Robles wine community is the opportunity to give back to the place we call home. This year, the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance Foundation (PRWCAF) is proud to award $30,000 in scholarships to 12 outstanding graduating seniors from Paso Robles High School, Templeton High School, and Atascadero High School.

Made possible through proceeds from the 2025 Paso Robles Wine Country Virtual Auction, these scholarships recognize students who have demonstrated academic achievement, leadership, community involvement, and a strong commitment to their future educational goals.

“Reading applications for these scholarships is a highlight of my year,” said Maggie Tillman, Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance Board Member and Owner of Alta Colina Vineyard & Winery. “These are local kids with real ambition, and the Virtual Auction is how our industry gets to recognize and root for them in a tangible way. The Paso Robles community and the wine industry are deeply intertwined, and getting to support local students is a gift.”

Scholarship awards ranged from $1,000 to $4,000 and were presented during local high school scholarship ceremonies.

These annual scholarships are funded by the annual Paso Robles Wine Country Virtual Auction. Last year’s auction featured 35 custom-curated packages showcasing the best of Paso Robles Wine Country, including rare wines, luxury overnight stays, exclusive vineyard experiences, and more.

Wine lovers and supporters from across the country joined in the bidding, helping generate funds that directly benefit local students and nonprofits.
