  • About
Set along the westernmost boundaries of Paso Robles, California, Halter Ranch is a 2,700-acre nature estate nestled in the wild Santa Lucia Mountain Range. Established by Swiss entrepreneur and conservationist Hansjörg Wyss as a tribute to his mother, Alice, the estate features 256 acres of organically farmed vineyards, producing terroir-driven Rhône and Bordeaux-style wines like Grenache Blanc, Syrah, and the flagship Estate Reserve, Ancestor. Rooted in nature and crafted with care, Halter Ranch is dedicated to exceptional, timeless wines and sustainable practices, overseen by winemaker Kevin Sass.

Winner of the Environment Award, California Green Medal: Sustainable Winegrowing Leadership Awards.
