Lemon Pepper Grilled Salmon – Autry Cellars

Wine Pairing: Autry Cellars 2020 Viognier from Still Waters Vineyard

This is a refreshing light dry Viognier with crisp green apple, caramel grapefruit notes and bright acidity. Aged one month in American oak, 80 cases produced from Still Waters Vineyards and is the perfect pairing with our Lemon Pepper Grilled Salmon recipe!

Ingredients

Salmon Fillets 4-6oz.

1/8 cup olive oil

Lemons, cut in round slices

Garlic, minced (quantity to your liking)

¼ cup butter, cut into tablespoon pats

Salt & pepper or seasoning mix you like

Foil

Directions

Debone salmon fillets. Cut foil pieces large enough to wrap and close into packets.

Place salmon in the center of each piece of cut foil. Add to each piece of salmon: drizzle with 1T. of olive oil, sprinkle seasoning on top, add garlic, place lemon slice on salmon and top with your butter pat.

Fold ends of foil toward the middle, join the other foil flaps together and fold down together the seal the packet.

Place on pre-heated grill medium-low heat or oven at 400 degrees, place the packets directly on the grill and close the lid. Cook 10-15 minutes or until internal temp is 140-145 degrees. Do not overcook!
