CANCELED – Vintage Paso: Zinscursions

UPDATE:

In light of this research and doing what we feel is responsible, we are going to cancel the Z After Party tasting,  Zinposium seminar, and Zinposium.

Experience the bold spirit of Paso Robles Wine Country with the NEW Zinscursions.  A blend of Paso’s best Zinfandels and unique excursions created for the wine adventurer.

Zinscursion: Old Vine Farming and Blending

This educational experience puts you in the vineyard for a pruning demonstration of nearly 100-year-old vines! Following your farming experience comes a unique opportunity to learn how Turley Wine Cellars blends different lots of Zinfandel to get the best expression of the vineyard in the glass. Both of these experiences are hands-on, so get ready to be a winemaker for a day.

When: Sunday,  March 22, 10AM – 12PM

Where: Turley Wine Cellars

Zinscursion: One Iconic Vineyard, Four Iconic Brands

The Dusi Vineyard sits quietly in view from Highway 101, blink and you’ll miss it, but is one of the most iconic vineyards in Paso Robles. Its fruit is highly regarded, yet few are able to make wine from it. At this experience, you will taste wine among these legendary vines from four of Paso’s well-known brands who are the lucky few. This list includes Barton Family Wines, Glunz Family Winery & Cellars, Tobin James Cellars, and the home estate winery, J Dusi Wines.

When: Sunday,  March 22, 11AM – 12:30PM

Where: Dusi Vineyard

Wineries: J Dusi  Wines, Glunz Family Winery, Grey Wolf,  Tobin James Cellars

Zinscursion: Winemaker Luncheon with Steve Anglim

In Paso Robles, we love our unique vineyard sites, and this is no exception. Bovino Vineyards is in the heart of the Paso Robles El Pomar District with 16 varieties planted over 40 acres. With such a large palette of grapes to make wine with, it takes a talented winemaker. Today you will learn more about Bovino Vineyards from their winemaker, Steve Anglim, through a vineyard tour and tasting that culminates with lunch overlooking the vineyard. Steve will showcase wines from Bovino as well as from his own label, Anglim Winery, artfully paired with Bovino’s chef-prepared meal.

When: Sunday,  March 22, 11AM – 1PM

Where: Bovino Vineyards
