Castoro Cellars – Canned Sparkling Rosé 4-Pack – Flatbread Pizza
Castoro Cellars Canned Sparkling Rosé has made drinking wine even easier. The cans are portable, and lightweight, and at 250ml per can is just over the amount of a typical glass of wine which is perfect if you don’t want to open an entire bottle! The Sparkling Rosé is tantalizingly crisp, exciting, and everything your taste buds desire! Pair with a delicious, light, flatbread pizza.
McPrice Myers – 2021 Bull by the Horns – Smoked Ribs
This Cabernet Sauvignon made by McPrice Myers has a classic, authentic Cabernet structure, true to the varietal, with fine tannins that stretch to a long, refined finish that compliments smoked ribs. The bold and fruity flavors of Cabernet Sauvignon contrast with the savory, meaty flavors of the ribs for the perfect pair.
Midnight Cellars – 2018 Moonlight – Al Pastor Nachos
The 2018 Cabernet Franc Moonlight would arguably pair well with Nachos Al Pastor. At first glance, these two would seem an unlikely pair, but having a nose of fresh-cut flowers, vanilla, and red fruit, the scent alone would beautifully contrast the roasted spice of al pastor and many layers of jalapeño, pineapple, red onion, cilantro, avocado, and queso. Having an initial quality of tart cranberry, the mouthfeel is bright and cheery. With a subtle red spice and toasted oak finish, the smoky acidity of this wine would complement the rich char of al pastor and the salted creaminess of layered cheeses.
Vino Vargas – 2021 CruZin – Meatballs
This fruit-forward Zinfandel screams blackberry with pepper jam and pairs well with all kinds of meat-centric snacks. Don’t limit your CruZin intake to just wine in a glass! We recommend marinating the ribs, or meatballs, or whatever you have before cooking it in CruZin.
Bella Luna Estate Winery – 2019 Fighter Pilot Red – Burgers
This 100% Zinfandel from Bella Luna Estate Winery is the perfect pair for your grilled burger this Super Bowl Sunday. With bright acidity, all spice and pepper on the nose, and smooth berry flavors, this Zinfandel is sure to please the pallets of your red wine drinking guests. The acidity and peppery flavors from this medium-bodied Zinfandel accentuate the savory flavors of the burger in return enhancing the fruitiness of the wine.
Opolo Vineyards – 2021 Mountain Zin – Bacon Jam Jalapeño Poppers
The 2021 Mountain Zinfandel opens with warm, jammy aromas of raspberry, black cherry, dried herb and sandalwood. A juicy, brambly palate delivers sumptuous flavors of cherry, boysenberry, blueberry and dark chocolate with a touch of earthy complexity. Lively acidity and peppery spice linger on a bright, energetic finish. The medium-bodied, jamminess of this Zinfandel helps to enhance the bacon flavors in the poppers bringing together two of the best tastes: bacon and wine!
Jada Vineyard & Winery – 2019 Jersey Girl Syrah – Bacon Cheeseburger Balls
Bacon Cheeseburger Balls are the perfect substitution for your two-handed favorite, the burger. Pair these delicious bites with Jada’s Jersey Girl Syrah. This bold red has notes of smoked game, ground pepper, and candied violets perfect for a red meat pairing. Having burgers or sliders? Lamb or beef? This wine is a great pairing to bring enhance the savory flavors on your plate.
