What’s the Same?

There’s no changing who Paso Wine is or what we’re about – big bold flavors! Aside from new offerings and some fresh new restaurants participating, Restaurant Month will deliver the same great flavors, same great food, and same great service. Along with great food comes great options. Restaurant Month is still offering deals in almost every community, so you can try new eats in Paso and all the way down to Grover Beach. The deals are still here as well- prix-fixe menus and discounts are available to help you try new spots while saving some moolah. If you’re willing to try something new, read ahead!

What’s New?

This year, restaurants will be offering special deals to keep you well-fed all month long. Restaurants will be offering 3-course prix-fixe menus between $39-$59. If not offering a special menu, restaurants will be offering 20% off the regular menu and other exciting special offerings.  So, no matter if you are craving a fine 3-course meal or a quick bite, you will be honored with a great deal you won’t want to pass up. There might even be new restaurants participating that haven’t in the past. Try out some spots and even spread the love to fresh new restaurants that are brand new to SLO CAL’s restaurant scene.

Tips: How to Support SLO CAL Restaurants During Restaurant Month

Plan It Out

Call Ahead

Pick a Spot to Enjoy

Post It – Repeat

In the spirit of supporting local, we can all try to think like an influencer this year. Post your well-plated meal for all your followers to see! Paso Wine and SLO CAL will love to see how you’re safely enjoying Restaurant Month, so tag @pasowine  @slocal and the restaurant’s handle so your friends can take your lead and enjoy your favorite dishes too. And there may be rewards too. SLO CAL restaurants will love to know that you are helping support small businesses and the hard-hit hospitality industry throughout January.

Indulge in the Flavor of Wine Country

Paso Robles wineries continue to raise the bar in not only tasting experiences but also in the culinary scene. Talented chefs from around the world are planting their roots in Paso. There’s a passion for food here with an abundance of year-round produce and artisanal products.

So many wineries in Paso Robles have 5-star restaurants set amongst vineyards. See if you can experience them all! Villa San-Juilette Vineyard & Winery is offering their full restaurant menu at 20% off. The prime jewel of this month’s menu? Lamb shank with parmesan risotto and seasonal vegetables. Also on the Eastside, Cass Winery Café is preparing a three-course menu and full wine flight. Not to miss at Cass this month is the prawn tostada! Another killer three-course menu you shouldn’t miss is from Bovino Vineyards. Take in the stunning views of the Templeton Gap AVA while you enjoy the drunken steak with shitake mushrooms paired with Petite Sirah.  Cruise down the iconic Highway 46 West to grab your restaurant month specials from Niner Wine Estate. Niner is offering an amazing three-course meal including two wine pairings in addition to their traditional lunch menu. The beef short rib with au poivre and fries paired with the Club 9 blend is a wine country match made in heaven.

Paso Robles resorts and hotels also have a strong dining game. The exquisite Allegretto Vineyard Resort is offering a beautiful three-course meal at their Cello Ristorante & Bar. The roasted Roma tomato ETTO pasta golden beet salad is magic. Downtown Paso’s cool new kid on the block, Oak & Copper Bistro in the Oxford Suites, has a delicious prix fixe three-course menu with locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. You can select from two options in each course. Our fave combo is grilled asparagus, pork tenderloin, and the divine ice cream cake. Union & Vine at Springhill Suites in Atascadero is also offering a three-course menu with your choice of Land or Sea options. How can you go wrong with pasta calamarata, cod puttanesca, and white chocolate crème brulèe?!

In downtown Paso Robles, you’ll find the incredible Fish Gaucho offering a three-course menu for restaurant month. Finishing the meal is their flat iron carne asada with shrimp including jalapeño mashed potatoes! Enjoy with their famous Guacho Margarita or a glass of local wine. Down the street, Thomas Hill Organics is doing exciting things for restaurant month featuring a new chef each week that showcases unique culinary styles. We are particularly keen on trying Chef Mike Espy’s grilled rack of lamb with gremolata, pomegranate reduction, carrots, and lemon sumac sauce.

We hope you join us for this tasty month celebrating some of the finest cuisines on the Central Coast. For more information on Restaurant Month and to view all of the menus visit Visit SLO CAL.
