Epoch Estate Wines & LXV Wines: Danube River

Six friends. Two completely different expressions of West Paso terroir. Your chance to know them intimately – and to see this part of Europe through their eyes. Jordan Fiorentini of Epoch draws her tasting notes – literally. Her wines are site-obsessed, consistently 95–100 points, made from soils 20 million years old. You taste the limestone. You taste the history. Neeta and Kunal Mittal of LXV bring something different – ultra-premium Paso with a Bordeaux soul. Decanter 95-point, Wine Enthusiast Top 100. Paired with spices. Manu, Jordan’s well-traveled husband and storyteller, has lived this world from the inside out. And hosting it all – Adam Monteil, who knows how to hold a room and move a river.

Medieval Nuremberg. Imperial Vienna. Budapest. The Wachau Valley vineyards at your feet. And at every port, a new table. Nuremberg bratwurst and lebkuchen still warm from the oven. Bavarian beer halls in Regensburg. Apricot pastries in the Wachau Valley. Wiener Schnitzel in Vienna, where dinner has been an art form for three centuries. Goulash and chimney cake in Budapest — the kind of food that makes you stay one more day.

The river moves. The cuisine moves with it. Library wines at night. Conversations that don’t end until the river does.
