The SLOIFF film festival showcases contemporary and classic film screenings in venues throughout the county, including vineyard locations and Park Cinemas right here in Paso Robles.
The full schedule won’t be announced until February 15, but Paso Wine got a sneak peak.

Andre Tchelistcheff, born into an Aristocratic family in Moscow remarkably survived the upheaval of the Russian revolution and the civil war where he was wounded on the frozen Crimean Steppe. Known as the ‘Dean of American Wine’ his uncompromising passion helped move the wine industry from a virtually moribund state after the repeal of prohibition on to its renaissance. A century ago Rogljevo was incredibly prosperous for a remote village in far eastern corners of Serbia. The wines of Rogljevo were to be found at exhibitions in Bordeaux and Paris. But today this region is poor and deserted. Suddenly a French family moved in to grow grapes and produce wine. They believe they have discovered a promised land, one of the top five wine regions in Europe. Their arrival sparked high hopes with some villagers – and great resistance and mistrust with others. A Fine Line explores why less than 7 percent of head chefs/restaurant owners are women when traditionally women have influenced the greatest male chefs in the kitchen.
