Zobèto Wines

Located on the west side of Paso Robles, Zobèto Wines is a family owned, boutique winery rooted in craftsmanship, hospitality, and a deep connection to place.

Founded by Cliff and Christie Cate, Zobèto is a passion project that grew from a love of wine, family, and the Paso Robles community. Named after our three children, Zoe, Beck, and Torin, the winery reflects our belief that great wine is ultimately about bringing people together.

Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre are at the heart of our winemaking. We craft small production, Rhône inspired wines from thoughtfully farmed vineyards in the Willow Creek and Templeton Gap AVAs, alongside our own estate vineyard planted in 2024. In 2026, we celebrated our first estate harvest, an exciting milestone in our journey.

Our approach to winemaking is intentional and hands on, emphasizing native fermentations, neutral oak, and wines that express balance, texture, and character.

We offer intimate, appointment only tastings at our family estate, personally hosted by the people behind the wines. Guests are invited to slow down, explore the vineyard, hear our story, and enjoy a relaxed, personal experience that reflects everything we love about Paso Robles.
