When you're in Paso and you say "Pinot Noir", say WINDWARD VINEYARD. We are the only winery in Paso Robles dedicated to growing & producing 100% Estate, Burgundian-style Pinot Noir. The vineyard planted in 1990 by owners Marc Goldberg & Maggie D'Ambrosia was named for the cool Pacific Ocean winds that breeze through the Templeton Gap on the Westside of Paso Robles. Our 15-acre property is an ideal terroir for producing fine Pinot Noir due to our coastal influence, limestone and mineral-rich soil, wind, and cool nights.
Windward Vineyard offers a unique experience: a vertical tasting of consecutive vintages of our estate Pinot Noir, with optional artisan cheese pairing. Each vintage is a true expression of the vineyard and weather for that year. Try our new creations, such as our Pinot Rosé! Enjoy a glass on our patio overlooking our 15-acre estate. Play a game of bocce ball, sip wine by the glass, picnic under our umbrellas and nosh with a cheese pairing.
Windward Vineyard stays focused on their goal of producing a great American, Burgundian style Pinot Noir and they have received worldwide recognition for their efforts. We are minimalists, we don’t acidulate, fine or filter, and we age in 100% French oak Barrels.
