    Turtle Rock is a family owned, boutique winery with a tasting room in Tin City. Husband and wife team, Don & Claudia Burns started in 2008 with a solid wine line up since 2012. Their philosophy is simple, you can't make amazing wine without great fruit. Specializing in Rhone varietals, they source grapes from some of the finest properties in the Willow Creek and Temple Gap Districts including James Berry and G2 Vineyards. Through sustainable farming practices, low yields, and harvesting at optimal ripeness, they are able to make wines with both intensity and balance. They have continuously received 93 - 99 point scores from Jeb Dunnuck, The Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator, and Vinous. Their 2017 Maturin placed #5 on Jeb Dunnuck's Top 100 Wines of 2019. Then in 2021 they received the coveted 100 points for their 2019 G2 Syrah. Don and Claudia are grateful to be part of such an incredible wine community and so proud to share their passion with the world.
