  • About
"We are artists, farmers, chemists, parents and friends. We are grateful. We are small, but on the verge of something big. We are believers in sustainability. We are in awe of our children. We are optimistic, passionate, and curious. We are laborers, visionaries and good dinner guests. We are aware we should be doing more. We are dedicated to creating beautiful wines from the ground up. We are up for the challenge. We are Scott and Viquel Hawley and our two boys, Reece and Gage. We are family and together we are Torrin. "

Scott and Viquel Hawley started Torrin with a planting contract and unwavering optimism in 2002. Shortly after, they purchased their estate vineyard in the Willow Creek District of west Paso Robles and with the bottling of the 2006 vintage, Torrin became a reality. Today, this small family owned winery continues to make limited quantities of some of the areas most sought after wines. With an emphasis on Rhone Varietals grown exclusively in rocky hillside soils, Torrin wines are hallmarked by the impressive depth and complexity displayed in their youth, as well as their remarkable ability to age with grace and finesse for well over a decade. Complementing their Rhone lineup of wines, the Hawleys also produce small lots of beautifully balanced Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from unique sites in Santa Barbara County for the Torrin "Lagom" collection. Guests can enjoy a selection of wines available for tasting by appointment at the winery.
