AboutOur family has been farming in Paso Robles since the 1880's when our ancestors moved from Geneseo, IL as pioneers of what has been named the Geneseo District of Paso Robles. Howie & Bev Steinbeck began planting the family's estate vineyards in 1982. We grow 16 varietals on our historic 400-acre estate, the majority of which are sold to several local premium wineries. Howie, Bev, and daughter Cindy began our wine brand in 2006, utilizing just 1% of our vineyards and showcasing the quality of the fruit we grow. Our rustic tasting room is home to our elegant wines and helps us to tell our rich stories, displaying many original family artifacts from over 138 years of family history. We offer "CRASH COURSES," Paso's original educational vineyard tour, always led by a family member on our estate vineyard in an old Jeep. Our fruit is grown by Cindy Steinbeck's son, sixth-generation, Ryan Newkirk and our wines are crafted by Cindy's son-in-law, Bryan Widstrand.
Our family is known for our community involvement, hospitality, and excellence in both growing grapes and making wines. -
