- AboutOur family has been farming in Paso Robles since the 1880's when our ancestors moved from Geneseo, IL as pioneers of what has been named the Geneseo District of Paso Robles. We grow 16 varietals on our historic estate, the majority of which are sold to several local premium wineries. We began our wine brand in 2006, utilizing just 1% of our vineyards and showcasing the quality of the fruit Howie Steinbeck and his grandson, Ryan are growing. Our rustic tasting room is home to our elegant wines and helps us to tell our rich stories, displaying many original family artifacts from over 136 years of family history. We also offer The Crash Course, Paso's original educational vineyard tour, always led by a family member on our estate vineyard in an old Jeep. Our fruit is grown by three generations of one family, and is crafted into our estate label by our amazing winemaker Steve Glossner and assistant winemaker, (son-in-law to Cindy) Bryan Widstrand.
Our family is known for our community involvement, hospitality and excellence in both growing grapes and making wines. - Vineyard Details
