Lone Madrone’s wines reflect the personality of our founding winemaker, Neil Collins. If you lean in and listen, you will be able to enjoy his dry captivating British wit, while you discover the essence of what drew his family across the world to the Paso Robles westside. Neil is a wanderer and his desire to explore it all shows in his 30 years of gained knowledge and experience, with meticulous selection and creation of the wines he loves the most. Today, Neil’s winemaking passion fuels his vision for the future of Lone Madrone.

The vineyards we source from are dry-farmed, pushing the vines to work harder and drive their roots deeper to find life-giving water. Along the same vein, we ask you to drive your roots down deeper, off the beaten path, and discover something special within our wines. Wine is an expression of the land it comes from and we are proud to offer an experience focused on just that.

It is family that led Neil to Paso Robles Wine Country and today, Neil works closely with his sons, Jordan and Austin, and nephew Lucas to provide visitors the opportunity to experience a truly multi-generational winemaking family. We invite you to open a bottle, pull up a chair to our table (or tasting bar, or your own table), pour your glass of Lone Madrone wine and join the family.
