  • About
Loma Seca Vineyards is a 160 acre ranch with approximately 35 acres planted to nine grape varieties. It is located in the beautiful hills of the Adelaida district of the Paso Robles AVA, about ten minutes from the city of Paso Robles, just above Adelaida Rd. All of the vines are dry-farmed and head-trained and the vineyard is certified Organic by CCOF. The soils are mostly calcareous, high pH soils which maintain good acidity in the grapes. You won't find drip hoses, wire trellises, pesticides or herbicides in use on the ranch. The vines are all on relatively steep west, south-west facing hills at more than 1800' elevation. All of the vineyard work, including pruning and harvesting is done the old fashioned way, by hand. We grow Cabernet Sauvignon, Garnacha Tinta, Syrah, Mourvedre, Petite Sirah, and Primitivo on the red ledger. For whites we grow Grenache Blanc, Vermentino, and of all things, Reisling.
