Coming from Bordeaux, Stephan Asseo fell in love with Paso Robles in 1998. Our unique Westside terroir provides the foundation for his artisan viticulture and winemaking skills. The proof of his passion for quality lies in our estate grown "Paso Blends". The blending of premium varietals increases the authenticity, complexity, and balance. In this adventurous spirit, we find the soul of Paso Robles

In July of 2023, L'Aventure celebrated its 25th anniversary. This milestone comes with many accomplishments including completing the construction of our new tasting room and caves, partnering with the Thiénot family, acquiring a new vineyard, and doing more collaborative wine projects. Our focus on quality continues as we evolve with innovative ideas while still respecting our roots.

Our tasting room is open by appointment 7 days a week from 10 am to 4 pm with our last tasting conducted at 3 pm. We offer a one-on-one, educational tasting experience of our current vintage. During your tasting, one of our tasting room hosts will discuss our history and our winemaking philosophy, the wines, and our region. We also offer a Library Tasting, and a Champagne Tasting Experience that showcases our partners in France, the Thiénot Family. Reservations can be made directly from our website by clicking the VISIT tab or by calling our tasting room at (805) 227-1588.
