The Lohr family’s relationship with Paso Robles started in the 1980s when Jerry Lohr identified the region’s potential for growing world-class Bordeaux varieties. Today, the Lohr family and team farm more than 2,600 acres of Certified California Sustainable estate vineyards throughout five of Paso Robles’ sub-AVAs – in addition to 1,400 acres in Monterey County and 34 acres in Napa Valley. These unique Paso Robles growing sites provide the foundation for J. Lohr’s Bordeaux and Rhône varietals and blends. Guests visiting the J. Lohr Paso Robles Wine Center can expect dramatic vineyard views, warm hospitality, and legendary wines in the comfortable, farmhouse-inspired setting. The tasting room experiences offer many J. Lohr winery-exclusive gems and hard-to-find small-lot wines.
