The Lohr family’s Paso Robles legacy began in the 1980s when Jerry Lohr identified the region’s potential for growing world-class Cabernet. Today, J. Lohr farms more than 2,600 acres of Certified California Sustainable estate vineyards throughout five of Paso Robles’ sub-AVAs. These unique Paso Robles growing sites are the source for J. Lohr’s renowned Bordeaux and Rhône varietals and blends.

    J. Lohr also farms more than 1,400 acres of Chardonnay and other cool-climate varieties in Monterey’s Arroyo Seco appellation. The winery has one artisan property in Napa Valley’s St. Helena appellation – the J. Lohr Carol’s Vineyard.

Guests visiting the J. Lohr Paso Robles Wine Center during this, the winery’s 50th anniversary year, will find dramatic vineyard views, warm hospitality, and legendary wines in the farmhouse-inspired setting. The tasting room experiences offer many J. Lohr winery-exclusive gems and hard-to-find small-lot wines.
