    At J Dusi Wines, our story begins in the vineyard — and it’s been rooted there for generations. Our family’s history in Paso Robles grape growing dates back to the early 1920s, when the Dusi family first planted vines and established farming practices that continue to guide us today. Those same time-honored methods, passed down through four generations, remain the foundation of everything we do.
    We are proud to be a family-owned winery, deeply connected to the land and to one another. Our wines are crafted in the old-world Italian tradition taught by our grandfather, Dante Dusi, who believed great wine starts with hard work, respect for the vineyard, and patience in the cellar. From tending the vines and hand-harvesting fruit to fermenting and blending each wine, every step is guided by hands-on involvement and a shared commitment to quality.
    Led by owner and winemaker Janell Dusi, J Dusi Wines blends tradition with a fresh perspective. As a female winemaker and farmer, Janell brings both reverence for the past and an adventurous spirit to the cellar. Through our family’s partnership in additional vineyards across Paso Robles, we’re able to work with a diverse range of varietals — a true “spice rack” that allows us to craft expressive, site-driven wines.
