Frolicking Frog Cellars is family owned operation of Stuart & Maria Goldman, husband and wife winemaking team on a property that lies at the bottom of Frog Pond Mountain on State Hwy. 41 in Atascadero, with a tasting room in Downtown Paso on 12th & Park, across from the historic Paso Park. The Happy Frolickers started making wine as Home Winemakers in the fall of 1988 and opened our winery in 2000, producing small lots of handcrafted wines of Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier. Zinfandel Late Harvest and many Red Blends. Some years at our winery nestled among the Oaks produce 400 cases and others years only 250 cases. The love of this Art of "Winemaking" as it influences our passion and enthusiasm in making wines that are approachable and enjoyed. We believe in the traditional methods of making wine and grape sources from the family owned vineyards in our acclaimed Paso Robles appellations. Wines' only purpose being part of a living true Art is to be shared. Stu, Winemaker is also an Artist besides Winemaker, he loves to create and work with his hands. We are a proud and humble footprint of the greater Paso Robles Wine Country. Our Downtown Paso Tasting Room presence has been enjoyed to meet and greet so many folks that affirm the grandest intent to be faithful to the journey of wine and let the greater experience of tasting many diverse wines linger a spell and return for a revisit. Tasting fee $10.
