Frisby Cellars

Frisby Cellars has been producing award winning wines from Paso Robles since 2009. Owner and winemaker Josh Frisby, an Orange County native and active Fire Captain in OC began his winemaking journey after discovering his love for Paso Robles and the complexity of the wines coming out of the area. Josh made it his quest to find premium wine grapes each year from prestigious vineyards and make beautifully crafted wines that showcase the unique microclimates and terrior of the region. Now producing over 2,000 cases of wine from the region and operating two tasting rooms in Orange County and its newest location in Paso Robles’ Ramada Row.

Frisby Cellars currently sources 15 different grape varietals from 6 American Viticultural Areas in Paso Robles. Having a wide range of fruit from throughout the region takes guests on a wine tasting voyage of different soil types, weather climates and elevations that are distinct to each area. From single vineyard Grenache, Mourvedre and Syrah to complex Bordeaux and Rhone blends, Frisby Cellars endeavors to produce wines that tell a story of each unique growing and winemaking year.
