    Epoch: ĕp´ǒk - pronounced "epic"
    1. A period of grand or remarkable events.
    2. A division of geologic time.

Founded in 2004, Epoch has quickly developed a big reputation for small production, hand crafted wines with abundant personalities. Made from Rhone, Tempranillo, and Zinfandel varieties grown on our two estate vineyards in west Paso Robles, Paderewski and Catapult Vineyard, we strive to make wines that are complex and delicious, seriously fun to drink, thought-provoking, and most important, memory-making.

Our Tasting Room is located off of 46 West at the historic York Mountain property. We pinch ourselves daily that we get to call this little slice of heaven our home. If you have ever visited us, you know what we mean. Tucked away amongst Eucalyptus and Redwood trees, there is just something magical about this property. In 2016, we completed the long-awaited restoration of the old York Mountain Winery, the first bonded winery in the central coast, into our new Tasting Room. Utilizing as many bricks and beams from the original winery as possible, we are so excited to share our historic home with all of you! Our Tasting Room is open daily by appointment from 10 a.m - 4 p.m.

Come taste history in the making!

    • All of our fruit is estate-grown, coming from two specific and unique sites which we purchased & planted: Paderewski Vineyard and Catapult Vineyard in west Paso. Through carefully managed, non-invasive farming, we aim to bring the complex character of our vineyards and their terroir into each bottle of Epoch Estate Wines.
