    We've taken the varietals we love from Italy - Sangiovese, Nebbiolo, Primitivo and Montepulciano - and blended them with Italian clones of Bordeaux varietals like Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot to create Super Tuscan wines that pay homage to their roots and celebrate California's innovative vineyard and winemaking practices.

    Our 32-acre Creston estate is located in the Paso Robles AVA, just minutes from the cities of Paso Robles, Atascadero and San Luis Obispo. Eleven and a half acres of the property are under vine and exclusively farmed by hand. In a world of mechanical harvesters, optical sorters and automated pumpovers, we prune, thin, harvest, sort and process our vineyard and wines under the skilled hands and eyes of people who care deeply for the land, the vines and ultimately the final product. Our desire is to create wines that reflect our unique terroir with responsible and sustainable practices.

    Proprietor and winemaker, Josh Morris, believes that less can be more. The fruit at Ella's Vineyard is hand-sorted, fermented in small lots and then pressed into carefully selected oak barrels. The extended aging practice that follows gives a nod to old world traditions, producing deep, aromatic and complex wines that can be enjoyed today or aged for decades.

    Our modern tasting room is in the Tin City Annex and features a VIP lounge made from more than 150-year old reclaimed barn wood. Come experience how Paso Robles does Italy!
