Chateau Margene

Chateau Margene is a small family-owned winery located in the Creston District AVA. Our first wine was the 1997 Cabernet Sauvignon. We practice Farming organic and sustainable principles in the vineyard and the focus is small lots of ultra-premium grapes that are hand picked, hand sorted and then gently moved through our gravity flow grape processing system. Mooney Family sources Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes from the Santa Lucia Highlands and Sta. Rita Hills AVA's. Roxo Cellars produces port-style wines aged in barrel from 3 - 12 years for complex, structured dessert wines.
