Boutz Cellars

The Boutzoukas Family story is about a father and son embarking on a journey to build a legacy, both of whom have a passion for the outdoors, farming, and of course - fine wine.

We currently have 2 vineyards, Kendros and Boutz Ranch, both in the beautiful Adelaida District AVA of Paso Robles, CA. With our region’s diverse microclimates and our planted areas having varied soils and altitudes, our vineyards produce fruit with an abundance of characteristics. These characteristics are then reflected in the personalities of our wines. As we know, good wine can only come from good fruit and the happy terroir it is grown. Varietals currently under production include Cabernet Sauvignon, Cab Franc, Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre, Petite Syrah.

We are also deeply rooted in our Greek heritage and have planted 7 different verticals including; Moschofilero, Assyrtiko, Vidiano, Kotsifali, Agiorgitiko, Xinomavro, and Liatiko. We had our first harvest of our Greek whites in the harvest of (2023) and they did not disappoint. Another part of our heritage is the Cretan Spirit known as Raki or Tsikoudia to which we began production in 2020 and have branded as Kri-Kri Raki.

Now with 50 acres of planted vines between the two sites and 13 different varietals, the foundation is in place to achieve our dreams. Hard work, sustainable farming practices, and a focus on quality over quantity is reflected in our wines and represents what our legacy is being built upon.
