The Alzheimer's Association (ALZ) leads the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support. Our vision is a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia.

The Alzheimer’s Association California Central Coast Chapter provides support services, care options and education for families and caregivers across three counties: San Luis Obispo County, Santa Barbara County and Ventura County. To learn more about ALZ's local education presentations and caregiver support groups, go to alz.org/CACentralCoast. ALZ also has a 24/7 Helpline to provide support to individuals with dementia and their caregivers at 800.272.3900.

ALZ organizes Walk to End Alzheimer's events each fall in San Luis Obispo, Santa Maria, Santa Barbara, Ventura and Conejo Valley to help fund this mission. To register a company or family walk team or as a participant, go to: alz.org/CACentralWalks. Company sponsorship is available at TaMariott@alz.org. In addition, The Longest Day is a year-round "do what you love" fundraising campaign for the Alzheimer's Association as well. For more info, go to alz.org/TLD.
