NEW RELEASE- 2021 MIGHTNIGHT MAGIC PETITE SIRAH
Petite Sirah is a cross between Syrah and Peloursin (a nearly extinct French varietal). It is an exceptionally rare varietal with less than 13,00 acres planted worldwide. Not only is this a rare wine in the world, but it also makes up less than 16% of all the grape varietals planted in Paso Robles. Petite Sirah was first planted in Paso Robles in the 1920’s. Cheers to 100 years of Paso Petite Sirah!
Petite Sirah is the heavy-weight champion in the world of wine. This wine is rich and weighty, inky, and deliciously chewy. It has opaque midnight-violet and black hues, packed with health benefiting anthocyanins and antioxidants. Ironically, there is nothing petite about this wine (except the size of the grape).
Dark fruit flavors including wild blackberry, huckleberry, and ripe blueberry linger with cool anise-licorice spice and dry pepper on the exhale. This wine is fruit forward with elegant and structured tannins. This wine explodes with a range of lingering flavors.
