2023 Barbera – Bella Bella *RELEASED*

Barbera is a wonderful Italian varietal famous in the Piemonte region of Italy. Barbera is a vigorous, adaptable vine which can grow in various soils and can withstand hot climates. Barbera thrives in the diversified soils that Paso Robles has to offer.

Barbera is a relatively light-bodied red wine despite its bold, deep dark purple color. Juicy and drinkable with naturally high acidity. Balanced red fruit flavors include dried strawberry, raspberry, red cherry, black cherry, and blackberry.

Food Pairings: Try with anything Italian. From classic lasagna to spaghetti and meatballs. Try fresh carbonara with generous parmesan shavings and extra pancetta. Goes well with charcuterie and cheeses. Pair with Blue cheese, Parmigiano-Reggiano, Taleggio and Fontina.
