The Community Wine Awards recognize individuals and organizations that make Paso Robles Wine Country a better place to live and work. Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance members nominated and voted on their peers for the awards. It is exciting to announce the recipients of the Community Wine Winter Awards 2025.

Vineyard Worker of the Year
Jose Gomez, Brecon Estate

Jose Gomez has been Vineyard Manager at Brecon Estate since its inception in 2012, and a steward of the historic vines since the 1990s. Jose is the cornerstone of the 27 – acre vineyard, ensuring its vitality and the quality of Brecon Estate’s wines.

Hospitality Star
CJ Gormley, Austin Hope Wines

CJ lights up every room with his joy and passion for Paso Robles wine. His welcoming spirit, deep knowledge, and engaging style make every encounter unforgettable. From local tastings to nationwide events, CJ embodies the heart of Paso hospitality. Simply put, he’s a shining example of Paso Robles hospitality at it’s very best.

Cellar Worker of the Year
Brenna Hill, Thacher Winery

Over the last few years, Brenna has worked diligently, progressing from intern to assistant winemaker. She is profoundly organized and proactive. She is efficient, logical, and competent daily, and a valuable team player. Brenna is an up – and- coming winemaker to watch who is eager, open -minded, and ready to tackle any project.
