2024 Syrah - Willow Creek District - $25/ gallon - 84 gallons
15.2% ABV, 3.9 pH, 4.5 g/L TA

This Syrah is surplus after blending and a mixture of clones including 40% clone 470, with the remainder a blend of clones Estrella, Alban 1, and 877. It has been stored in one 320L barrel and FSO2 maintained around 30ppm. The wine is Medium + bodied and part of the blend saw some new oak before combining. It has plush tannins, excellent fruit mixed with savory, earthy tones and some sweet barrel spice and toast.

2023 Grenache - Willow Creek District - $15/ gallon - 105 gallons
15.22% ABV, 3.36 pH, 6.3 TA

This Grenache is comprised of 100% clone 362 from the Willow Creek District of Paso Robles. The fruit comes from vines which naturally yield less than 3 tons/ acre and have distinctly small berries a great color. The wine has been stored in one neutral, 400L barrel. The wine has great color with a very aromatic, fresh and candied red fruit nose and vibrant acidity.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Tasting Room Associate. This role requires strong customer service skills, comfort with point-of-sale and shipping software, and the ability to handle day-to-day responsibilities independently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional hospitality and wine tasting experiences for guests
Operate daily tasting room activities Thursday–Sunday
Accurately process sales using Commerce7 (C7) POS system
Prepare and process wine shipments using UPS software and procedures
Communicate important updates, issues, or needs to owners in a timely manner
Handle opening and closing procedures
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming tasting room environment
Assist with inventory awareness and restocking as needed

Qualifications:

Previous tasting room, winery, or hospitality experience required

About us: We are an estate winery located in the Adelaida District of Paso Robles. Our vineyard contains 31 acres of Rhone varieties—2026 is the 22nd leaf. It is located on a scenic mountain top in the Coast range west of Paso Robles. A twelve-year old, modern winery is in the valley below the vineyard. All viticulture and enology are in-house. Most sales are direct to the consumer, so marketing activities are under the same roof with winemaking. We are a small team with many cross-discipline learning opportunities.
This internship is approximately 4 months (August through November) and will transition from vineyard focused to winery focused as the vintage unfolds. We strive to make intern education in a diversity of operations a priority. Each day will be different depending on the job assignment. The wage range is $18-20/hour depending on experience and skills. Work week ranges from 30-60 hours/week.
