Qualifications

• At least one-year experience in hospitality industry, preferably in a tasting room or as a restaurant server is highly desired but not required

Our acclaimed estate welcomes guests with upscale seated tasting experiences by reservation only. With our expected growth and upcoming expansion, we are looking for a full-time Wine Club Manager to lead our largest revenue making business units. We currently have a loyal and healthy active wine club community but we are looking for someone who can take our existing programs to the next level. Our new team member should be a team-player, self-motivated, energetic, methodical and possess strong wine club management experience as well as excellent hospitality. This is a key position within our organization and will report directly to our General Manager and ownership.

Clos Solène has been recently showcased in SF Chronicle and continues to garner high scores from the wine industry most respected publications. In addition, we are breaking ground imminently on a stunning 19,000sq ft state of the art underground cellar as well as a hospitality center encompassing four tasting suites located in the vineyards, a Member only VIP cellar experience and a vintage library.

Main Responsibilities:
• Cultivate guest experience excellence beyond their visit at Clos Solène and efficiently communicate wine club timelines to company various departments
• Effectively manage current Wine Club business unit (order creation, billing, fulfillment, shipping, inventory and more) while bringing systems and programs improvements
• Plan and execute wine club shipments, including communication, processing, and delivery. Monitor wine inventory and allocations
• Manage the membership database, including sign-ups, address changes, and credit card payment updates. Create member profiles and track data to identify sales opportunities. Keeping the database clean and up to date
• Manage the dry goods inventory, keeping the quantities up to date and ordering in timely manner
• Maintain and increase membership retention by providing exceptional hospitality and open communication with club members via phone, email, and in-person. Respond to customer complaints in a timely manner and monitor online forums
• Coordinate shipping execution with our fulfillment house, track and manage inventories across multiple locations and coordinate the transfers efficiently
• Monitor and execute daily orders with our fulfillment and in house needs
• Analyze monthly reports to monitor overall membership performance. Identify ways to improve any areas of opportunity, and make timely recommendations to streamline and improve our wine club programs
• Work closely with our General Manager, Ownership and other department heads on strategies to grow our wine club retention and sign-up metrics
• Develop Membership programs (planning, development, events) allowing to meet and go beyond goals
• Follow up with members and service providers to ensure on-time and proper deliveries
• Host Wine Club Members during our Tasting Room hours when needed. Represent the winery at wine club events, and set up and conduct exclusive tastings for VIP members.
• Positively and enthusiastically share our brand story and details about our portfolio

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) from 4-year college/university with 5+ years sales/marketing experience or 8+ years proven experience in sales/marketing and/or relationship management.
