We are looking for a Membership Specialist with deep wine club knowledge to help care for our large, fully customizable wine club, where members choose their Austin Hope and Treana wines and Hope Provisions Co. culinary pairings each season.
Wine club is the heartbeat of our direct to consumer business, and you will help make every touch point personal, effortless and a little unexpected.
What You Will Do
• Care for members by phone, email and text with warmth and genuine follow through.
• Help build seasonal releases, including club tiers and customization options in our POS platform.
• Process seasonal club releases from start to finish, including customizations, skips and order corrections.
• Manage the flow of orders between our POS and third party compliance and fulfillment partners, resolving exceptions before members notice.
• Turn moments when a member is thinking of leaving into conversations about what would serve them better.
• Bring new ideas for benefits, communications and processes that make membership better.

QUALIFICATIONS:

*2+ years of experience in luxury hospitality, wine service, or sales preferred
*Exceptional guest service skills with a polished, engaging, and professional presence

California Pay Transparency Notice: This position is classified as non-exempt. The base compensation range for this role is $18.00-$19.50/hour. Candidates are generally not hired at or near the maximum of the base compensation range. Final salary placement will depend on several factors, which may include the candidate’s qualifications, education, relevant experience, and alignment with current market data. In addition to the salary, this position may be eligible for bonuses, incentive plans, or participate in tasting room tip pools, as applicable.

Position Summary
A Tasting Room Lead represents the company and brand, leading the team as a point person. Knowledge of wines, wine production and the wine industry is a plus. The candidate will be expected to learn on the job and provide guests with a working knowledge of current vintage wines. In this role, you will host tastings of wines unlike any other in a cool, laid-back environment in downtown Paso Robles.
