Produced in small quantities. The James Gang Reserve Zinfandel is filled with the most magnificent, jammy, and intense fruit.

This Zinfandel is full-bodied with a rich mouth feel. It is velvety and smooth. Like the Ballistic Zinfandel, this wine has layers of fruit, spice, and earthy notes.

The James Gang Reserve Zinfandel is a blend of 5 different vineyards including the famous old-vine dry-farmed Dusi Vineyard Zinfandel. Dried brambly blackberry fruits are expressed on the palate along with nutmeg and allspice followed by a delicate pepper on the finish.

Food Pairings: Great with pasta and tomato-based sauces, BBQ pork dishes, grilled steaks, and lamb dishes. Try with baked pasta shells stuffed with beef stewed in a tomato basil sauce. Pair with lamb chops with rosemary and garlic. Pair with molasses rubbed, flavor-rich crispy pork belly Cubano-style sandwich. Goes great with sharp cheddar cheese.
