We are happy to announce our recipient for the 2019 Good Neighbor Award. This award spotlights an individual or organization whose work has gone far in helping their community and neighbors. And, best of all, chosen by their peers.

Applause for this year’s winner-  Michael Dusi Logistics!

Michael Dusi Logistics (MDL) has always been a Good Neighbor! Following the lead of CEO Michael Dusi with integrity and modesty, they give back to the community in ways only MDL can. They offer shipping and storage services free of charge to non-profit organizations that help our local area, including MUST! Charities and Studios in the Park. They provide office space to The Wellness Kitchen, an organization that works throughout San Luis Obispo County to help feed those with critical and chronic health conditions. MDL served as a donation drop off point during the Camp Fires and delivered supplies via MDL trucks to those impacted by the fires.

They have donated extensively to local police and fire departments, the turf field project at War Memorial Stadium, as well as the Real Men Drink Pink Event in support of the Central Coast Cancer Support Community. Lastly, Michael Dusi Logistics is helping to encourage the future work force by partnering with local colleges and universities including Cal Poly, Cuesta Community College, SJVC, and Fresno State to provide an immersive internship program for students interested in learning more about the wine logistics and transportation industry.
