Crit­i­cal­ly acclaimed Singer-Song­writer Dave Tate’s soul­ful music com­bines inti­mate vocals with hushed acoustic gui­tar to present a unique and intro­spec­tive indie-folk sound. Some­times high and soar­ing, some­times hushed and invit­ing, Tate’s heart­felt voice weaves his orig­i­nal poet­ic lyrics through sound­scapes of fin­ger­style acoustic gui­tar and per­cus­sive rhythms. New­ly relo­cat­ed to the Cen­tral Coast of Cal­i­for­nia, Tate is a native of the red rock desert of Zion Nation­al Park, Tate’s music has often been inspired by the tow­er­ing beau­ty of his red rock moun­tain home­land and he is now inspired by the vast hori­zons of the Cen­tral Coast.
