Consciously living is about waking up to the inner workings of our mental, emotional, and physical processes. We all have a basic human ability to be present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing at any given time. By using the tools and techniques found in mindfulness and meditation practices, we’re able to curb the instinctual behavior of reacting, and instead make the conscious choice of responding. We begin to see the bigger picture and not become overwhelmed by what’s going on around us. The goal of this class is to share proven and simple techniques to bring about conscious awareness to improve our quality of life as earthly beings.
