Distillery Trail Weekend VIP Tour

We’re excited to have teamed up with the Distillers of SLO County to offer three days of exclusive tours visiting the distilleries along the distillery trail in Paso Robles.

Each day is a unique exploration of three exciting local distilleries where you’ll be given VIP access to savor a diversity of hand-crafted spirits and cocktails, meet the makers behind the labels and enjoy a variety of special activities including live music, specialty drinks and more.

The tours include full-day transportation on a spacious vehicle with a friendly guide/driver, pickup & drop-off at your accommodations near downtown Paso Robles, a delicious gourmet lunch at a distillery, meeting the owners/distillers and going behind the scenes where you’ll learn about distillation, the different types of craft spirits being produced and more – all while making new friends on a fun and social day!

Included you will also receive a Copper Card – which covers one complimentary tasting flight at each of the 14 distilleries on the trail. That’s a $288 value, and the Copper Card has no expiration date!

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Your tour guide will pick you up directly at your accommodations near downtown Paso Robles between 9:45a – 10:30a.

Once everyone is on board, we’ll quickly do introductions and get on the road to our first stop!

We’ll start the day deep in the heart of wine country at Willow Creek Distillery, where head distiller Kevin Coulton will walk the group through the distillation process and a sampling of their delicious offerings – including aromatic fruit brandies, whisky, and premium liqueurs.

After your tasting, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch in their barrel room where you can choose between a wood-fired pizza or a gourmet grilled cheese sandwich, accompanied by a side salad and a tasty dessert.

They’ll also have a delicious specialty cocktail available for purchase to enjoy alongside your lunch!

After lunch, we’ll take a short drive to one of the newer distilleries in the area, Donati Distillery.

Here you’ll kick back and relax in their VIP room while tasting through their delicious lineup of quality vodkas, including their newly released Citrine Vodka (produced from grapes & aged in Chardonnay barrels), and a specialty cocktail prepared especially for the weekend.

Finish the day at Azeo Distillery where you’ll taste through their selection of craft spirits – distilled to the Azeotrope, the point where the ethanol cannot be further separated from the water – making them ultra clean, and incredibly delicious.

Their owner/distiller, Ryan Horn, will talk about their methods and philosophy while you taste through their lineup specializing in vodka (made from apples or grapes), rum, apple brandy and brandy.
