Donatoni Winery opened in 1979 at the end of runway 2.5 right at the Los Angeles Int'l Airport. We remained at that location until 2004 when we were able to move the winery to Paso Robles where we are today. We produce mostly red wine varietals including Grenache, Sangiovese, Barbera, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah and several Zinfandels. Our most popular Zinfandel is from Richard Sauret Vineyards. Our tasting room is open Saturday and Sunday 12-5 p.m. and by appointment. We are closed the month of January. Festival hours are Friday-Sunday 12-5 p.m. We have a very small vineyard where we grow Zinfandel, Mourvedre & a little Petite Sirah. Our winery is on the premises & we crush, press, barrel ferment and bottle here. We produce as many as 700 cases and as little as 400 depending on the year. We charge $10 tasting fee p/person. We have a wine club with two shipments annually or pick up parties two times a year, May and November. Our Theme is airline since Hank & I both worked for an airline for over 35 years, Hank as a Pilot, I as a Stewardess, Flight attendant & finally Purser. So Welcome Aboard.
