Job Summary:
The Bottling Line Support supports the Filler Operators by completing tasks directed by the Filler Operators to keep the bottling line running smoothly.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Specifically, the responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following activities:
•Follow equipment SOP’s to assure quality is maintained
•Understand beer transfer protocols from various cellars
•Understand hygienic processes such as operating daily CIP’s and hot sanitizations
•Maintain beer quality by implementing hourly QC beer checks such as inline dissolved oxygen and total package oxygen readings
•Operate box forming equipment including a partition and carrier inserter
•Operate glass de-palletizing equipment
•Operate fully automated palletizing and pallet wrapping equipment
•Help the bottle line operator maintain all equipment
•Run drop packer and assure full labeled bottles are packaged into cases
•Run Slitter/Sealer to seal the cases of full beer
•Ensure proper packaging integrity by checking for a correct label on every bottle, the proper date on every case of beer, and each case is correctly sealed closed
•Be able to change over all bottle line equipment to different package configurations
•Troubleshoot faulted equipment
•Refill supplies such as packaging materials, labels, crowns etc.
•Clean-up labeler, filler, and packaging area at the end of shift
•Maintain package sanitation throughout all the packaging halls
•Other tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications:
•High School Diploma or equivalent and prior manufacturing experience a plus, but not required. Will train on the job.
•Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
•Ability to complete simple math calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
•Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
•Ability to have high attention to detail, follow direction, be punctual and have good attendance.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for the duration of the work shift and the employee must repeatedly lift and/or move up to 55 pounds.

Position Description:
The Wine Club and Events Assistant will be the first point of contact with long-standing Wine Club members and new member relationships, and assist in the cultivation of our DTC business. In addition, the position will work closely with our team assisting with our winery event schedule, weddings and corporate events. Candidates must demonstrate excellent verbal and written skills, possess excellent computer skills and have the ability to engage and provide guided tours of our wedding facilities and event spaces. Wine knowledge, a gracious and engaging personality and a passion for providing authentic, personalized experiences are required. This person must also enjoy working in an open office environment and be open to multiple tasks within the administration office.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Four-year related degree preferred
2 years minimum experience in the wine club, events or wedding industry

Ability to process custom wine club orders, wine club releases and assist with member updates
Assist with receiving and pricing merchandise and monthly inventory

Allegretto is a small, artisanal Paso Robles brand producing less than 2,000 cases annually. Our goal is to create a brand that is welcoming to customers and showcases our wine, our story and our craft.

THE POSITION

The Hospitality Manager will be the brand ambassador for the winery while directing all aspects of brand management and all touch points related to the customer experience, establishing the Allegretto Winery as one of the region’s premier brands. The position requires an overall management ability to deliver on the vision for the brand. It is paramount that this candidate be professional, customer oriented, wine savvy and specifically knowledgeable about Allegretto wines. Qualified candidates will have experience creating adaptive approaches to reflect a brand’s essence while delivering results.

The Hospitality Manager will lead the development and implementation of marketing plans to position the brand as a leading artisanal producer of premium Paso Robles wine. This position is responsible for identifying strategic recommendations and opportunities, program execution, analysis and summary related to brand development, sales, tasting room and wine club management. Qualified candidates will be expected to embrace and reflect the Allegretto philosophy, and the culture of luxury wines and service.

This individual must set a Resort leadership example and be hands-on in leading the Tasting Room as well as in developing and growing the business. The ability to provide constructive input to operations to continue to maximize the experience provided is very important and must be done in a constructive, team-oriented “can-do approach” to ensure that the service delivery meets and exceeds the goal.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Brand Management
• Create and execute strategic business plans to develop the brand into a leading artisanal Paso Robles producer of premium wines
• Create and manage annual sales budget, including comprehensive revenue and cost projections
• Develop a detailed plan of action to accomplish brand goals
• Develop marketing campaigns, ensuring message consistency
• Develop POS materials, including tasting notes, tech sheets, marketing materials
• Create advertising plan to include digital and print
• Own and manage social media across all platforms and perform monthly reporting, influencer outreach, storytelling and brand engagement
• Manage website and its evolution
• Collaborate with the design team for development and production of POS materials
• Liaise with compliance, bottling and labeling agencies
• Build and maintain working relationships with internal and external partners
• Represent the winery at trade shows and other promotional events
• Generate offsite wine sales to key accounts on the Central Coast and Southern CA in the future
• Reach out to trade as a representative of the winery

• Manage wine inventories and sales projections in the Tasting Room, Wine Club and off-site sales
Tasting Room Management
• Oversee a positive tasting room experience for all guests, with a reliable means of monitoring performance and adjusting strategies as needed
• Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and courtesy, executing the highest level of customer service and providing a model for all staff
• Develop and execute procedures for cash reconciliation, sales monitoring and inventory management
• Manage POS to ensure effectiveness and accuracy
• Curate and manage merchandising
• Manage and oversee future sales staff, including training
• Work with management to establish and meet tasting room sales goals
Wine Club Oversight
• Promote the wine club and grow membership through design and implementation of industry best practices, on-site conversions and creative marketing efforts
• Design and execute effective marketing materials, including eblasts, promotional items, and packages for customers and club members
• Manage and maintain the membership database, including adding and updating members
• Notify club members of special events and potential discounts available
• Prepare accurate wine club invoices and shipments
• Ensure all wine club, direct sales and online sales, shipments and processes meet alcoholic beverage compliance requirements
• Perform inventory to ensure that shipments are made timely
• Work with management to establish and meet wine club membership goals
Event Coordination
• Develop a schedule of events for winery participation, on and off-site
• Arrange all necessary materials, inventory, contracted vendors and staffing for events
• Represent the winery with a high level of professionalism at all events
CRITERIA

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Hospitality Manager, Sales & Marketing Manager, Brand Manager, Tasting Room Manager or Wine Club Manager required
• History of personnel management, developing and leading a team
• Experience in working collaboratively with an multi-disciplinary management team
• Sincere passion for, and understanding of, the wine industry
• Broad knowledge of wine industry with focus on all California growing regions
• Strong understanding of wine production, packaging, COGs, COLA, and TTB
• Proven business acumen, organizational, problem-solving and tracking skills with an ability to multi-task, make sound decisions and meet deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to manage marketing plans on budgets

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

•Weekly inventory counts and monthly reconciliation of all finished goods on site (01, LIB, BWP)
•Research and investigate inventory variances

Job Summary:
The Keg Line Operator is responsible for CIP, sanitization, operation, and clean-up of the keg line. They are responsible for filling orders according to the schedule, running the line and working with the lab and cellar team to ensure that all QC parameters are met.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Specifically, the responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following activities:
•Follow keg schedule to ensure orders are met on time and in the proper cooperage
•CIP and sanitize the line according to SOP protocols
•Run the keg line according to SOP and make sure that QC parameters are being met
•Work with the lab and cellar staff to release beers prior to packaging
•Keep keg line area and storage area organized and clean
•Maintain stock of all collars and keg caps
•Identify problems on the line and notify management and maintenance as needed
•Identify, separate and repair bad kegs
•Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
•High School Diploma or equivalent and prior manufacturing experience a plus, but not required. Will train on the job.
•Ability to operate and use a PC computer
•Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
•Ability to complete simple math calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
•Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment and maintain attention to detail while managing time to meet production goals.
•Ability to take initiative, act promptly and be proactive

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for the duration of the work shift and the employee must repeatedly lift and/or move up to 55 pounds.

SKILLS

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and in troubleshooting basic computer issues.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with additional hours during peak season, including weekends.

• Ability to hike/walk in uneven, steep terrain in varying weather conditions.

EXPERIENCE
